A therapy session lasts about 60 minutes and it is carried out on a special mattress (tatami) placed on the floor.
The client is comfortably dressed in loose trousers and cotton T-shirt, so you will be kindly requested to bring your garment to the session.
I always have a short consultation with everyone prior entering into a single-treatment or designing a targeted therapy-plan. We discuss the physical satus history, current problems, the expectations and my possibilities to help.
Then it follows a physical assessment about the status of the vertebral column, muscles, joints, shoulders, arms and legs; any dislocation of the hipbones and all the interrelated physical symptoms to be followed by the massage itself.
The following three types of techniques are used during the therapy process:
– thrust-kneading methods
– point pressure techniques
– Joint adjustments („Seitai” – the Japanese chiropractic)
After the session we can design together a targeted therapy-plan, which fits the needs of the client.
In general terms at least 5-6 sessions are required to feel the deeper therapeutical effects of the massage, however this could also vary on individual basis.
One session of 1 hour costs £40.
